Fine specimens of heliotrope and jasper, with dark silicious minerals resembling flint, are found between Pachod on the Birh road, and Givaroi, to the south of the Sattara hills. These occur in a broad fissure, running nearly east and west, among some trap that is now much decomposed. Basalt is seen in a dike among the hills between Pachod and Chicholi to the west of Chota Pipalgaon.
