Shah Mun-tajabu-d din, surnamed ” Zar Zari Zar Baksh,” meaning “generous,” was one of the earliest of the Chishtias, and was sent to the Dakhan by Nizamu-d din Aulia of Dehli, in the beginning of the 8th century Hijri. He was accompanied by 700 disciples, and is said to have converted a Hindu princess near a well at Roza. The place is called “Sohan baoli” or ” pleasing well,” and the princess is buried close to the saint.
