The Bharkal gate of the city is attributed to him, and so is the Naukonda palace. According to one account, a noble of Aurangzib’s court named A’lam Khan, made additions to the Naukonda palace; and further additions were subsequently made by His Highness Asaf Jah; while an adjoining block of buildings was screened off by a partition wall for Nazir Jang.
